Future global challenges – IBM and a Vision

It was the first and well visited Roundtable discussion in the context of the CeBIT Global Conferences 2010 during this year’s CeBIT fair in Hannover, Germany.

“Make the planet smarter”, the key issue of IBM’s strategy and vision was even the outstanding topic of Jon Iwata’s Keynote “ New Skills and Collaboration for a Smarter Planet”.

I’ve got the chance to ask for some statements, and we talked about the challenges of the next five years and IBM’s vision:

More photos, more quotes, interviews and for first time featured here: videos. It seems, Cloud Computing and Collaboration will become a main topic this year, but I’m open to anything.

Last Weekend I’ve been in Munich for the
Barcamp Munich 2009. I don’t want to write a resume of all sessions I participated but some words about the whole event: Yes, indeed — it was absolutely okay. They got the best out of all. Venue, Sponsors, Sessions — I’m satisfied and thankful.

My first day at the CeBIT this year was primary a journey between Hall 6 and Hall 26.
Webciety based in Hall 6 on the fairground offers several dissertations and round table discussions. Digital Natives – from Web 2.0 casuals to business relatives, Tourism Communities and Web Services, Social Media Marketing.
